Arts + Crafts Austro-Hungary Silver Enameled Lucky Charm Link Bracelet
A charming and "lucky" link bracelet from the Arts and Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in silver, this beautiful piece is comprised of fourteen round links with a scalloped edge, each one featuring a unique "lucky" image in colorful enamel. Some of the charms' images include a black pig, horseshoe and swallow bird, a red star, an orange capped mushroom, a four leaf clover, an ivy leaf, a ladybug, a man depicting a chimney sweeper, and various flowers, all of which are considered to be symbols of lucky charms in different cultures. Each link features lovely etched marks around the images, a wonderful light catching accent, and connecting the links are two ring connectors at the top and bottom, which give flexibility to the piece. When worn, the bracelet wraps comfortably around the wrist, fastening with a spring ring clasp and safety chain at the end. The links on either end of the clasp are stamped with an Austria-Hungary hallmark which represents .750 purity silver along with the letter "A" which represents that the piece was assayed in Vienna. A fun and lucky everyday piece, it would make a unique gift for someone special!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long and each round link measures about 3/8" in diameter.
