Art Deco Style Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.68ct
A wonderful antique style engagement ring with a stunning Art Deco look! This gorgeous piece features a beautiful old European Cut diamond at the center of a platinum setting. The prong set diamond weighs approximately 1.68ct and has H color and VS2 clarity. It rests within a crown-like centerpiece and sparkles radiantly, catching the light with every turn! The setting is inspired by the Art Deco era, and is complete with cathedral style sides, shapely cutouts, engraved accents, and fine milgrain details. There are 10 delicate accent diamonds that line the shoulders of the setting, which are micro prong set and provide further sparkle to the already stunning design. The delicate single cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.20ctw combined, and have H-I range color and VS range clarity. Stamped inside the etched shank is "PLAT." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in September 2016, and has a stated retail replacement value of $26,000.00. When worn, the ring is positively breathtaking and would make an outstanding engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could easily be resized. The diamond centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures approximately 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
