Art Deco Platinum Diamond + French Cut Emerald Engagement Ring 0.20ct center
A stunning diamond and emerald engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful platinum piece features an approximately 0.20ct old Mine Cut diamond that rests atop an ornate filigree domed mounting. The beautiful stone exhibits G/H color and VS2 clarity, and is prong set within a box setting surrounded by a border of French Cut natural emeralds. The vivid green stones weigh approximately 0.35ctw combined, and add a fabulous pop of color to the stunning design. The gorgeous mounting features elegant filigree wirework, delicate cutouts, fine milgrain details and a beautiful floral motif at each corner. Embellishing the entire centerpiece are Single Cut accent diamonds throughout, weighing approximately 0.35ctw all together, each one catching the light brilliantly with every turn. Finishing the design is a graduated band decorated with a gorgeous etched design on all 3 sides, and stamped inside of the shank is a "PLAT." purity mark. It looks absolutely beautiful when worn and would make a unique and stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.75 but could be re-sized. The centerpiece measures slightly less than 1/2" tall, and rests slightly more than 1/8" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds and emeralds are intact and securely set.
