Art Deco Platinum/14kt Citrine + Diamond Enameled Pendant
A stunning citrine and diamond pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This elegant piece showcases a citrine stone at the center, which rests within a decorative platinum-topped 14kt gold setting. The citrine exhibits a gorgeous natural color commonplace among the Madeira citrine varieties, and delivers a lovely sparkle as the faceted edges catch the light. Each corner of the frame is decorated with fine filigree cutouts, delicate accent diamonds, and milgrain detail throughout. A bar of rich, black enameling lines each the side of the border, providing the perfect contrasting finishing touch. Attached at the top is a complimentary diamond bail with a beautiful floral motif, perfect for hanging the piece from a favorite chain. This wonderful Art Deco pendant is especially eye-catching in person, and would look gorgeous worn day or night!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1" long (including the bail), and measures about 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting. The citrine and diamonds are intact and securely set. The black enamel is free of any chips or scratches. The bail is secure and in good working order.
