Art Deco Platinum 11mm Black Tahitian Pearl + Diamond Earrings 0.90ctw
A stunning pair of diamond and black Tahitian pearl earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, each earring adorns a single Tahitian South Sea pearl dangling at the base of an elegant drop design. The 11mm pearl exhibits a high surface luster and rich, shimmery gray color. Sparkling Single Cut diamonds line the surmount and geometrically-shaped links, creating shapely cut-outs and a bold Deco design. A single Emerald Cut diamond rests near the bottom of the surmount, for a combined diamond weight of approximately 0.90ctw between both earrings. The stones sparkle beautifully in the light and fine milgrained details are found throughout each. Finishing the design is a simple post and earring back, stamped with a "950" platinum purity mark. These incredible and classic Art Deco earrings dangle with lovely movement and frame the face beautifully. Perfect for special occasions, they make an incredible statement when worn!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 3/4" long, and measures a little more than 1/4" at the widest point. Each pearl measure approximately 11mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds and both pearls are intact. The earring posts and backs are secure and in good working condition.
