Art Deco 14kt Red + White Enamel Sailboat Charm/Pendant
A wonderful sailboat pendant from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) period! This charming piece depicts a realistic looking sailboat at sea, crafted in bright 14kt gold. Vibrant red and white enamel decorates the surface of the charm, with soft grey stripes that line the sails. The slight 3-dimensional design gives the illusion that the curved sails are billowing forward, caught in the wind. At the top of the boat is a simple gold jump ring, perfect for hanging the piece from a fine chain or a favorite charm bracelet. Both attractive and artistic, this whimsical piece has a great nautical look, and would delight any sailing enthusiast or vintage charm collector!
Measurements: The sailboat charm hangs approximately 1" long, measures 1/2" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enameled detail, which is free of any apparent chips or scratches. The gold ring bail at the top is securely attached.
