ALLSOPP & ALLSOPP Edwardian 14kt/Platinum Diamond + Sapphire Bracelet
A stunning diamond and sapphire link bracelet from the Edwardian (ca1910) era signed by Newark, NJ maker Allsopp & Allsopp! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped with platinum, this gorgeous piece is comprised of hinged box links that form a straight, but flexible design. A gorgeous etched design decorates the open-center links, which layer atop each other, giving them a fabulous "step" appearance. Five square-shaped gemstone links rest symmetrically across the front, creating an incredible alternating pattern of diamonds and natural sapphires. The 3 old European Cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.30ctw all together and alternate with two French Cut sapphires that have a total approximate carat weigh of 0.50ctw combined. A delicate raised border surrounds each stone and fine milgrain detail embellishes the entire piece. The bracelet wraps comfortable around the wrist and fastens with a push clasp and safety latch, both stamped with "14K PLAT. TOP." beside the signature "A&A" hallmark. A simply stunning Edwardian era bracelet, it would make a fabulous statement piece when worn.
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long, about 1/4" wide, and is 1/8" thick. Links can be removed to make the bracelet smaller, if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The diamonds and sapphires are all intact and securely set. The push clasp and safety latch are secure and in good working condition.
