Victorian 18kt Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Stud Earrings 1.30ctw
A stunning pair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These beautiful studs feature a cluster of sparkling diamonds held within an 18kt gold crown-like setting. A substantial old Rose Cut diamond rests slightly higher at the center, surrounded by a border of delicate Rose Cuts. The center stones weigh approximately 0.40ct each, while the accent diamonds that form the halo weigh approximately 0.25ctw. Collectively, the earrings have a total estimated diamond carat weigh of 1.30ctw (approximately 0.65ctw per ear). Secure gold earring backs rest on the back of each earring, allowing for easy and comfortable wear. The delicate and beautiful design of these studs is very versatile, making them suitable for everyday wear or special occasions!
Measurements: Each diamond cluster measures approximately 3/8" in diameter, and is about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and earring backs and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set. Due to the hand cut nature of old Rose Cut diamonds, the shape of the stones do not have perfect symmetry. This reflects the age and genuine appearance of antique diamonds.
