Victorian 14kt Solitaire Rose Cut Diamond Ring 0.45ct
A lovely diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold, this lovely piece displays a single diamond set within a simple, yet bold design. The diamond, which is an old Rose Cut, has a total approximate weight of 0.45ct and is slightly triangular in shape. The stone is bezel set, lying seamlessly within the graduating solid gold band, resting slightly above the mounting in a domed design. Found along the outside of the band are two small hallmarks which we were unable to identify; please refer to images. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning everyday piece or could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized. The band graduates in width, measuring 7mm at the front and 3.25mm at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and the diamond stone is intact.
