Victorian 14kt Diamond Foxtail Fringe Earrings
A gorgeous pair of earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in vibrant 14kt gold, these earrings have a dramatic hanging design. A sparkling diamond rests at the center, set within a raised band. Swinging freely from the bottom is a foxtail fringe, comprised of a row of articulated spears. The hollow design is wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear, hanging from simple gold wires at the top. These artistic earrings frame the face beautifully and dangle with lovely movement. A perfect example of Victorian era jewelry, they would make a special addition to any antique collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/8" long (including the wires and the fringe), measures 1/2" at the widest point, and 3/8" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or accent diamonds. The earring wires and dangling foxtail fringe spears are securely attached.
