OSCAR HEYMAN Vintage 18kt Diamond + Sapphire Bypass Ring
This beautiful vintage ring from the 1960s is a designer piece signed by Oscar Heyman! Crafted in 18kt gold, the ring features a row of diamonds and sapphires nestled together, forming a stylish bypass design. Two pear cut stones rest at the center, each held within a smooth teardrop-shaped bezel and trailing behind is a row of channel set baguettes, which graduate slightly as they near the back. Collectively, the sapphires weigh approximately 0.75ctw and display a luscious deep blue color. The diamonds also weigh approximately 0.75ctw combined, and have an estimated F-G range color and VS range clarity. Completing the design is a smooth gold band, which is stamped with several marks along the inside of the shank, including the authentic Oscar Heyman "OH" hallmark, an "18K" stamp, and the serial number "25425." A very stylish gemstone ring, it would be equally beautiful as a stand-alone piece, or stacked with other rings for a layered look!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75, but could be re-sized. The bypass design measures approximately 3/8" wide at the front, where the two rows of stones intersect. The tapered gold band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to any of the stones, all of which are securely set and free of chips or scratches.
