Late Art Deco Sterling Silver Amber Link Bracelet
A beautiful amber bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This wonderful piece consists of 14 silver links which come together to form a bold and artistic bracelet. The open links, which are rectangular, each display two oval-shaped cabochon amber stones that are bezel set in an open back setting. The stones are surrounded by a twisted wirework frame and two sterling leaves grace the center of each link. The amber displays a rich, vivid orange color and natural elements can be found within many of the stones. Delicate loop connectors at the top and bottom give flexibility to the design, and a secure push clasp is disguised within the final link. Additionally, there is a safety chain for added security. There are two makers marks on the tongue of the clasp; please refer to images. A beautiful statement piece, it is perfect for the amber lover's collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long, 7/8" wide and 1/4" thick. The piece would fit nicely on a average sized wrist.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to any of the amber cabochons, all of which are intact. The push clasp and safety chain is secure and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver that gives it a darkened look, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry.
