A beautiful garnet cabochon ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This wonderful ring is made of 14kt yellow and white gold, creating a lovely 2-tone effect. The centerpiece features a bezel set garnet cabochon, which is has a deep fiery red color and is surrounded by an etched border. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with delicate engraved detail, adding to the attractive mixed metals design. The inside of the shank is stamped "K", originally indicating the 14kt gold setting. A stunning turn-of-the-century piece, it is perfect for any garnet lover and would make a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be easily resized up or down if desired. The garnet cabochon centerpiece measures 3/4" tall and slightly over 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals gold mounting and the garnet cabochon is intact.
