Art Deco 14kt Carnelian & Rock Crystal Necklace
A stunning strand of carnelian beads from the late Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fabulous necklace is comprised of beautiful carnelian beads, which are split in the center and separated by faceted rock crystal discs. Alternating with the carnelian links are faceted rock quartz crystal beads, which add a lovely sparkle! The carnelian beads are slightly graduated, and display a rich, vibrant orange color. The beads are all strung on white chord and the necklace slips easily on and off overhead, no need for a clasp. The length and dramatic size of the beads make this necklace a wonderful statement piece when worn. It would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 3/4" long and is 3/8" thick. The smallest bead measures 3/8" long and 3/16" thick. The necklace measures 27" in total length. is approximately 15."
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent, with all beads and intact and securely strung. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage, chips, or scratches to any of the beads.
