Victorian Sterling Citrine & Inlaid Scottish Agate Bracelet
This wonderful bracelet from the Victorian era (ca1880) is quite an unusual piece! Crafted in sterling silver, the bangle-style bracelet features a pattern of Scottish agate stones inlaid into the surface. The natural stones vary in color, including earthy shades of green, red, and grey. Three faceted citrine stones are set across the front, adding a wonderful golden yellow sparkle! Each citrine is held within a raise filigree bezel with decorative prongs. Completing the design is an etched motif that decorates the sides of the silver setting, and a border that carries around to the back. The fine flourishes and delicate floral accents provide the perfect finishing touch. At the side of the piece is a hinged push clasp, and a safety chain that provides additional security when worn. In person, the ensemble of stones make a colorful statement, and the stylish design is perfect for stacking. This unique Victorian bracelet would make a special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures about 1" wide and has a depth of about 1/8". The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 2" tall.
