Art Deco Platinum Diamond + Emerald Engagement Ring 3.00ct center
A majestic diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning statement piece adorns a 3.00ct old European Cut diamond at the center, which has L/M color range and VS-VVS clarity range. The diamond rests in a milgrained bezel setting, and is flanked by gorgeous synthetic emeralds at either side, adding a wonderful pop of color! Lining the sides of the centerpiece are 26 beautiful old Mine Single Cut diamonds, adding further sparkle to the already breathtaking design. Collectively, the accent diamonds weigh 0.50ctw and have H-I range color and VS2-SI1 range clarity. A pattern of engraved leaves decorates the sides of the setting, meeting at a flourished motif at the top. Completing the design is a tapered band, with fine filigree cutouts along the shoulders. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in November 2018, and has a stated retail replacement value of $36,000.00. A positively magnificent Art Deco piece, it would look incredible worn on special occasions, or it could make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5, but could be resized if desired. The centerpiece measures about 3/8" wide, and rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and both synthetic emeralds are intact and securely set.
