Art Deco 18kt Diamond & Sapphire Engagement Ring .18ct
A lovely engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, the ring holds a sparkling diamond at the center of a beautiful filigree mounting. The diamond is micro prong set within a hexagonal border, and weighs approximately .18ct, with estimated H color and VS1 clarity. Delicate accent diamonds and synthetic sapphires decorate the shoulders of the band, resting amidst the lacy wirework details. Fine milgrain and hand engraving adorns the setting, extending along the sides of the tapered band. Stamped inside the shank is an "18K" mark. Perfect for the vintage jewelry lover, this gorgeous ring would make a special engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be resized. The surface of the ring rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn, and the tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting. All of the diamonds and synthetic sapphires are intact and securely set.
