Product Details

A very striking and unusual watch bracelet from the Retro (ca1940s) period! This unique piece is a marriage comprised of a platinum Waltham watch from the Art Deco era (ca1920) set within a bold 14kt gold Retro bracelet. The wide bangle has a ridged texture that carries all the way around the outside of the piece. The bracelet is hinged and opens at the side with a simple push clasp stamped "14K" on the tongue. A safety hook on the top snaps into place to provide extra security. Set within the front of the bangle is gorgeous platinum Waltham watch encrusted with sparkling single cut and baguette cut diamonds. The watch is engraved "S.E.B." on the back and has a winder on the side. Engraved on the inside of the bangle is the inscription "With all my love, Matt, 1946." This one-of-a-kind piece expertly merges two fashionable eras together for a spectacular effect! Both stylish and useful, it would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and approximately 1 7/8" tall. The surface is approximately 1 1/4" wide on the front and 7/8" wide on the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or dings to the gold bracelet, and the clasp and safety are both secure. The Waltham watch is in good working order, with no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all diamonds are intact.
