Vintage Large Sterling Silver Tiger's Eye Cabochon Ring
A simple yet stunning Vintage tiger's eye ring from the 1960s era This gorgeous sterling silver piece features a relatively large tiger's eye cabochon at the center of a minimalist setting. The incredible oval-shaped stone is banded with rich brown and iridescent caramel colors that flash beautifully when turned in the light. The cabochon is held within a 4-clawed prong setting, and rests on a simple mounting that features a delicate airline cutout below each shoulder. A smoothly polished band wraps around the back, completing the bold yet minimalist look. A stunning ring that will make a fabulous statement piece when worn, it would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75 but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures approximately 1 3/8" tall, about 1" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures approximately 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver setting or to the tiger's eye stone, which is secure and intact. There are a couple of very minor chips along the back edge of the stone, however, due to their location, none of them are noticeable when worn.
