Art Deco Large Sterling Marcasite & Faux Jade Pendant

SKU: 15285

$595 $995

An absolutely exquisite French sterling silver and faux Jade pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This striking piece is particularly large in size and depicts a rounded rectangular, faux Jade stone that hangs from a sterling silver topper. Prong set in sterling silver, the "Jade" is hand carved and has luscious green color. There are 17 hand-set marcasite stones set within the sterling topper, adding some sparkle to the piece! The topper hangs from a faceted glass loop, which connects to a complimentary bail, finishing the piece beautifully. The back of the "Jade" stone, as well as the sterling setting are simply smooth. The piece has a wonderful and unusual design and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2 3/4" long, is slightly less than 1" at the widest point and slightly more than 1/8" at the thickest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the large faux Jade stone or to the sterling setting and all of the marcasite stones are intact.
