Victorian 12kt Hand Carved Coral 5-Stone Ring

SKU: 43326

$895

A fantastic and unique coral ring from the early Victorian (ca1850s) era! This gorgeous handmade piece is crafted in 12kt yellow gold and features a simple, yet beautiful design. A row of hand carved coral stones line the front of the ring, each resting in a closed back ornate prong setting. The natural coral stones have a soft salmon orange hue and the unique hand carved design along the surface of each adds a subtle yet wonderful touch. Completing the design is a carved motif on the surface of the band, which flows along the entire length in a pattern of zigzags and flowers. A wonderful Victorian ring, it is perfect for the coral lover and would make a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.25, but could be easily resized. The coral centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" wide at the front, and the tapered band measures 2mm wide in the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting or carved details and the coral stones are all intact, securely set, and free of any visible damage. It appears that the band was resized at one point, creating a very minor blemish along the back of the band, however, due to the location, it is not noticeable when worn.
