Victorian 15kt Rose Gold Double Buckle Wide Bangle Bracelet
An incredible gold bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wide, three-dimensional bangle is crafted in vivid 15kt rose gold (indicating its English origin) and has a fabulous double buckle design. The elaborate design rests across the front of the bracelet, with two straps that come together at a large ring in the center. Two raised, elongated loops come from either side, each appearing to weave through an opening in the "straps" to connect together at the central ring. A textured, braided gold "rope" curves along the surface of both loops, creating a nautical-like appearance and giving the bracelet even more dimension. The underside has a smoothly polished finish and a hinged push clasp, with safety chain can be found at the side. The bracelet would fit nicely on a small to average sized wrist. A strong Victorian piece, the bracelet is very fashionable and would look fabulous worn alone or with other complimentary bangles!
Measurement: The top surface of the bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide and 1/2" at the deepest point. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting or to any of the raised gold details. The push clasp and safety chain are snug and secure, and the hinge in good working condition.
