Estate Platinum Cushion Mine Cut Diamond Halo Engagement Ring 1.29ct
A truly exceptional Estate diamond engagement ring! This stunning piece is crafted in platinum and adorns a 1.29ct diamond at the center of a halo-style setting. The old Mine Brilliant Cut stone rests in a bezel setting, and exhibits G color and VS2 clarity, sparkling beautifully with every turn. The surrounding halo is encrusted with bead-set diamonds, adding even more radiance to the beautiful design. A diamond-encrusted airline cutout is visible from the sides of the mounting, and additional accent diamonds line the gorgeous cathedral-style shoulders, trailing onto the band. Completing the design is fine milgrain work throughout, adding a wonderful feminine and vintage touch to piece. A smoothly polished band rests at the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a "PT 950" platinum purity mark.
Accompanying the ring is a diamond grading report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) on December 28, 2010 (Report No. 1122926839), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. Once purchased, the ring may also be evaluated by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist to determine a retail replacement value. A breathtaking piece that looks exquisite when worn, it would make an outstanding engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but it could easily be re-sized. The ring rests 3/8" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
