Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.80ct
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This lovely piece is crafted in platinum and holds an old Mine Cut diamond set in the center of a gorgeous wirework setting. The sparkling prong set diamond has an approiximate weight of 1.80ct, exhibiting J color, and SI2 clarity. The mounting displays wonderful filigree wirework with a flowing leaf-inspired design, and an ornate engraving runs along all sides of the piece. Six single cut diamonds add a wonderful sparkle to the band, perfectly complimenting the open wirework. The inside of the band has a partial mark reading "..ATINUM". The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent GIA-certified Gemologist in October 2020 and has a stated retail replacement value of $15,000.00. It is absolutely stunning when worn and would make a wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
