Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.16ct

SKU: MWMP01

$6,595
An incredible diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco era (ca1920)! This stunning ring holds a prong set Old European cut diamond at the center of a decorative platinum mounting. The diamond weighs approximately 1.16ct with M grade color and SI1 grade clarity. An additional 8 round diamonds accent the sides of the cathedral-style setting, adding further light-catching radiance to the design. The accent stones weigh approximately .16cwt combined with H-I range color and VS range clarity. A combination of fine filigree cutouts, delicate milgrain detail, and engraved leaf and wheat accents complete the gorgeous design. The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in August 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $7,100.00. The design is simply breathtaking when worn and would make an outstanding engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5, but could be resized. When worn, the ring sits approximately 1/4" atop the finger at the highest point. The tapered band measures approximately 2mm wide in the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
