Edwardian Platinum/18kt Peridot + Diamond Pendant
A fabulous peridot and diamond pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This elegant piece is crafted in 18kt gold and topped in platinum. Two peridot and diamond links hang below a diamond bail, forming an elongated design that dangles with lovely movement. Each peridot boasts a vivid natural green color, and is faceted for a lovely light-catching effect. A delicate border of Mine Cut diamonds surrounds each peridot, the perfect finishing touch! Attached at the top is the diamond bail, which has a hinged clasp function. Stamped on one side of the bail is a "C & CO" maker's hallmark, while the serial number "a g 847" appears on the other side. A real beauty, this feminine gemstone piece merges effortlessly into modern fashion, and would look stunning worn day or night!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/2" long (including the bail), measures about 1/2" across at the widest point, and 1/4" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The diamonds and peridots are all intact and securely set. The bail clasps securely and is in good working condition.
