Edwardian Platinum Cushion Cut Diamond Earrings 0.80ctw
A stunning pair of diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, these beautiful dangling earrings have a simple, yet elegant design. Each surmount holds a delicate diamond, with a bar link hanging freely below. Each bar link displays a small accent diamond at the center, and a larger Cushion Cut diamond hangs from the base, surrounded by an open wirework halo. Collectively, the diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.80ctw, and display I-J range color and SI range clarity. The accent diamonds are bezel set, while the largest stones at the base are held withing fine prong settings, though they almost appear to "float" at the center of the circular border. Simple posts on the back of each surmount complete the design. When worn, they dangle just below the ear, and would look beautiful worn everyday or on special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 3/4" long, and measure 1/4" in diameter at the base.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set. The earring posts and backs are secure and in good working condition.
