Edwardian 14kt/Platinum Diamond Filigree Earrings 0.65ctw
A gorgeous pair of diamond filigree earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! The earrings have a dangling design crafted in 14kt yellow gold and topped in platinum for a lovely 2-tone effect. Each ornate earring features an elongated filigree link that hangs from a gorgeous diamond topper. Set throughout the design are a combination of sparkling old Mine and Rose Cut diamonds, which decorate the filigree wirework and surmount at the top. A single bezel-set diamond dangles freely from the base, adding delicate movement to the design. Collectively, all of the diamonds weigh 0.65ctw, catching the light beautifully! Fine milgrain detail and elegant cutouts along the edge of each earring are the perfect finishing touches. When worn, the earrings hang from clasped wires at the top, framing the face beautifully. They have a timeless and classic appearance that would be perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/2" long, and measures 3/8" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and yellow gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasped earring wires are secure and in good working order.
