Edwardian 18kt/Platinum Diamond + Enamel Ring 0.50ct center

SKU: 39435

$3,495

A very striking diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous mixed metals design is crafted in 18kt gold and topped in platinum. The flat, circular centerpiece features a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond at the center, which weighs approximately .50ct and has estimated H color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is held within a milgrained bezel, and surrounded by a solid black enameled border. The rich, glossy black enamel is the perfect compliment to the sparkling diamond halo, which is comprised of chunky old Rose Cut diamonds in a pavé setting. Completing the design are fine filigree cutouts below the top, and a smooth gold shank in the back. The black and white aesthetic has strong fashion appeal, merging seamlessly into modern day popularity. This gorgeous Edwardian ring would look stunning worn on special occasions, or could make a unique alternative engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a small finger size 4, but could easily be resized. The circular centerpiece measures 1/2" in diameter, and rests approximately 1/8" above the finger when worn. The gold band measures 2mm wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting. The enamel is intact and free of chips or scratches. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
