Late Art Deco Sterling Hematite + White Enamel Link Bracelet
A wonderful and unique bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this unusual piece features a row of stunning hematite cabochons that alternate with white enameled links. Each oval-shaped stone rests in a bezel-setting, and displays a highly polished surface with a metallic appearance that reflects the light beautifully with every turn. Resting in between each stone is an elongated bar link detailed with a bright white enameled surface, providing a fantastic color contrast. The hinged links create a straight but flexible design, allowing the bracelet to wrap comfortably around the wrist when worn, and the piece fastens with a simple push clasp seamlessly hidden within the last link. A beautiful example of Art Deco era jewelry, this lovely bracelet would look wonderful worn day or night!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 6 1/8" long, and would fit nicely on a medium to small-sized wrist. It measures slightly more than than 1/4" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. All of the hematite stones are intact and securely set. The enamel is free of chips and scratches and the push clasp is secure and in good working order. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver, which is a normal characteristic of antique and vintage jewelry.
