Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.55ct center
An incredible and unique diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece adorns a beautiful 1.55ct Transitional Cut diamond at the center of a bold Art Deco design. The bezel set stone exhibits K/L color and SI2 clarity, catching the light brilliantly with every turn. A square-shaped border surrounds the center stone, and is lined with a frame of eye-catching accent diamonds. Finishing the geometric design is a pair of graduated baguette diamonds that decorate each shoulder, overlaying atop the square border. The rectangular stones are bezel set and accented with milgrain work, which also details the border, adding a wonderful feminine touch. Ornately shaped airline cutouts embellish the mounting, and a smoothly polished band graduates toward the back where a "950" purity mark is stamped inside of the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in January 2020 and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,000.00. A striking Art Deco piece, this gorgeous ring makes an incredible statement when worn and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures slightly more than 3/4" wide, about 1/2" tall, and rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
