Art Deco 14kt/Platinum Two-Tone Diamond Engagement Ring 0.70ct

SKU: 44163

$3,595
A wonderful diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and platinum and features a single old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond, which is prong set in an ornate platinum wirework basket, weighs approximately 0.70ctw and exhibits H color and SI1 clarity. The remaining band is crafted in yellow gold and displays a rich wheat engraving that carries along the shoulders as a feminine curl fills the ring's airline. The band gently tapers towards the back and the shank is stamped "14K" along with the hand inscribed initials and date "B.M.W. to H.E.B. 1920". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in February of 2021 and has a stated retail replacement value of $4,500.00. A stunning two-tone design, it looks wonderful when worn and would make a very special engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6 but could be easily re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals setting, and the diamond is intact.
