A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The sparkling cushion diamond center stone weighs approximately 1.04ct and exhibits I color and VS1 clarity, catching the light brilliantly with every turn. The bead set stone rests within a box setting, and is surrounded by an incredible diamond lined border that creates a gorgeous beveled-edge appeal. The centerpiece is framed by three diamond encrusted "steps" that form the geometric shoulders, a perfect example of the Art Deco era appeal. The Single Cut accent diamonds weigh approximately 0.28ctw combined, giving an overall diamond carat weight of the piece of approximately 1.32ctw. Finishing the design is fine milgrain detail throughout, and a gorgeous wirework design below the mounting provides a wonderful feminine touch. A smoothly polished band graduates towards the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a "PLATINUM" purity mark. The ring also comes with a custom made platinum band with 8 single cut diamonds that weigh .16ctw with G-H color and SI clarity. The rings were appraisal by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in July 2023, and has a stated total retail replacement value of $12,000. Measurements: The rings have a finger size of 6.25, but could be re-sized. The ring rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
